Match Procedure
BEFORE MATCH DAY
Check the Full Time system on a weekly basis to make sure you have correctly noted the date, time and pitch for your fixture.
If you are unable to fulfil your fixture, please contact a committee member.
Ensure your players are registered on the Whole Game System, and that your coaches DBS checks, safeguarding, and emergency aid are all up to date.
BEFORE LEAVING FOR MARKET ROAD
Ensure you leave home with the following:
Two match balls (whether you are the home team or not).
Jackets or bibs (for substitutes).
Bibs (in case of a kit clash).
Coaches ID badge.
Referee match fee (£10).
First aid kit.
Whistle.
Emergency contact numbers for each player.
BEFORE KICK OFF
If you are using changing rooms, you have a maximum of ten minutes changing time before you game. If you need a team briefing, this must be done outside. Please do not allow yourself to be alone in a changing room with one player.
Arrive at the gate to your pitch at least ten minutes before kick off. If all six teams arrive at once just before kick off, you risk losing game time.
You must show your coaches ID to the League Official on the gate.
No more than two coaches will be allowed on the pitch per team.
Ensure your spectators are stood in the correct place. A guide can be found here.
Ensure you stand in the correct place, and that your substitutes and bags are in the correct place.
Substitutes
Pitches 1, 3, 4 & 6: One team either side of the 11-a-side goal.
Pitches 2 & 5: One team either side of the pitch.
Bags
Pitches 1, 3, 4 & 6: One team’s bags either side of the 11-a-side goal.
Pitches 2 & 5: One team’s bags behind either of the small goals.
Pay the referee. The referee may refuse to referee the game until they have received payment.
If you want an ID check, you must request this before kick off.
If your opponents are five minutes or more late, you may be able to claim the result. If you choose to do this, you must inform the referee before kick off. This does not guarantee your claim will be accepted, but does ensure the League Management Committee will discuss it.
